  • #3: Creativity

There is a world inside of every technique. Between sticking patterns, rhythmic permutations, and drum and cymbal surface consideration, there are endless ways to explore time and rhythm.

  • #4: Repertoire

The study of music is an important part of improvement. Through transcription we can be inspired by and learn from the things we like. By building a repertoire of songs, we are better prepared for certain musical situations. The ability to learn songs quickly and make effective charts are also important skills to have.
